Amongst the popular April Fool’s Day campaigns entertaining the nation was one created by advertising students at the University of South Wales.

Emblazoned across our state-of-the-art digitial SmartScreen in Cardiff’s bustling city centre, was the winning concept from the talented students, produced in collaboration with Advertising Agency Hello Starling.

Team Maxx Media were pleased to be part of the entertaining campaign, which required a high frequency and quality visibility, in order to be effective.

Did you see the ad? You may have stopped and wondered is this too good to be true? Is there really a beer which can make a beard grow?  And you wouldn’t be alone: the creative artwork was a clever piece of design work, that really did seem almost believable!
